Terms and Conditions

To help us provide the best possible service we apply the following terms and conditions to all of our treatments. By booking a service or buying a voucher from Balance and Harmony you are agreeing to these terms and conditions:

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments please give us as much notice as possible so we can try to fill your appointment time.

A 20% deposit is required when booking, deposits are non-refundable, you can reschedule your appointment up to 48hrs before your appointment and your deposit will be transferred over to your future booking. If you are unable to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment.

If you cancel your appointment under 48 hours notice you will be charged 50% of the service price for late cancellations.

 

You will receive an email reminder 72 hours before your appointment, as well as a text reminder 24 hours before your appointment.

No Shows

If you fail to show up for your appointment you will be charged 100% of your service fee.

 

All future bookings will require to be pre-paid before your appointment will be confirmed.

Late Arrival

If you show up late to your appointment, you will be charged the full service fee and will have the time that is remaining for your booked appointment. 

Consultations

Please fill in the consultation form before you arrive for your appointment. The consultation form is a requirement before your treatment begins. If you are a new client please arrive at least 5 minutes early to go through the consultation.

It is your responsibility to inform the therapist if there are any changes to your health before the treatment begins.

Therapist Cancellations

If we need to cancel your appointment due to illness or other reasons we will notify you via phone, text or email. We will make every effort to reschedule your appointment at a time that is convenient for you.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 6months from purchase date, they may be redeemed before their expire date only. It is up to the voucher holder to book their treatment in advance, to avoid missing out. Vouchers are nonrefundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

At this stage gift vouchers are only redeemable on checkout (after your appointment), please let us know on the notes section when booking that you would like to pay with a voucher.  

Payment

Payment is required in full at the completion of your appointment. We accept payment via cash, online card payments (through the Fresha booking app) or bank transfer. 

Personal Conduct

All treatments offered are strictly professional, your therapist has the right to cancel your appointment immediately if there is any inappropriate behaviour, comments or suggestions. This may result in a police report if the charges are of serious nature. Payment will be required in full and future appointments will be denied.

During your treatment you will be well draped to respect your privacy. If you have any concerns or are uncomfortable for any reason, please let the therapist know immediately.

Health Conditions

If you have any health conditions or allergies that may be contraindications of your treatment please let your therapist know on the consultation form provided.

 

We strongly advise you consult a medical professional if you have any concerns before your appointment to obtain their approval. 

Age

You must be over the age of 16 to receive a massage, or have a parent or guardian present during your treatment. 

Complaints
